NIGHT FISHING

£5:00  Only purchasable by a fully paid up club member

£20:00 (bought in conjunction with annual season membership)

Night fishing guest tickets are available at a cost of £20 (valid for maximum 24 hrs).

​

These can only be purchasable by a club member who has night fishing authorisation on their membership. The member is responsible for the conduct of the guest and must also accompany and remain with the guest ticket holder while they are fishing.

In summary:-

​

  • Night fishing is allowed at Mirehouse Pond subject to the below club rules.

  • Members holding a season night ticket can fish the pond all year round - so long as sufficient notice is given as below (rule 19)

  • Individual night tickets are now available - note that individual night ticket holders must be accompanied by an existing club member holding a season night ticket 

  • No lone fishing is allowed an an individual night ticket

Rule 19:-

Night fishing may be allowed giving a minimum 12hrs notice of intention, by written, telephone, or email request to CHAIRMAN or via the member’s facebook page.

Where night fishing involves a visitor on individual night fishing ticket, 24hrs notice of intention must be given by the sponsoring night fishing member. The committee shall have full powers to deal with cases of non-observance of all or any of these rules, and may for such or any cause suspend or expel a member or visitor from the club and may reject application for membership or visitors ticket if they think fit.

NOTE: “Lone” night fishing will only be authorised for fully paid up night fishing permit holders.

Rule 31:-

An existing fully paid up night fishing member can purchase a night fishing ticket (cost of £9) to take a visitor/guest night fishing. The accompanying club member shall be held responsible & accountable for non-members actions & behaviour whilst on the club water

NOTE: It is the responsibility of the accompanying night fishing member to provide the notification (as per rule 19) Name, address and telephone contact details of the non-member/guest.

 

 

Rule 32:-

Club members/visitors under 18 years of age are not allowed to night fish unless supervised by a responsible adult (over 18) who must remain bankside, at all times.

Important Note

In addition to purchasing either a night ticket or annual night fishing permit, the angler must be in possession of a current Environment Agency (EA) license.
