Summary

The average weight of commons caught in the first 6 months of the year shows a drop in 2018 compared to 2017.  This is likely due to the increased numbers of commons caught giving a more realistic average across the population (most fish caught in the first 6 months appear to be in the in the 5-10lb range)

Mirrors, however show a slight increase in average weight, although numbers caught are slightly down on 2017
